Our new arrival, Taharani's baby girl, has been named Tesora vom Castell.  "Tesora" means "treasury" in Italian.  We think this lovely filly will be a treasure indeed!  She's already precious :)

Trakehner stallion Radscha passes away.

We extend our sincerest condolences to Mae Jean Fichter, of Mae's Way Trakehners, on the tragic passing of her stallion, Radscha (Traumdeuter x Ragnit III v. Habicht).  The loss of any Trakehner is always a sad event and the loss of a stallion even more so.  Radscha is succeeded by offspring active in breeding, dressage and eventing.  His most recent get is a beautiful 2010 daughter, Ganzer, and a long-awaited 2011 son, Avatar, out of Miss Behavin' (v. Schonfeld *E*), born less than two months after his sire's death.  Radscha will be fondly remembered by many.
